Biography
I chose a trade because I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect, and coming up with solutions for problems in a creative way. I was only introduced to computer-aided design (CAD) work a little over a year ago; it was a class I had in the program I was enrolled in. My career goals are to become a Red Seal millwright and industrial electrician.
I got involved with skills competitions when I competed at the provincial level, and moved on to the Skills Canada National Competition. That competition showed me how capable I am, and that I can achieve great things in my life if I work hard at it.
Interesting Fact
My parents are my biggest inspiration. They have always supported me any way they could, and always tried to help me succeed in life.
Skills for Success
The skill that was instrumental for me in my training process and the competition was digital. I had to be able to use the software at its best capability, and be able to use it fast. The skill that I believe is most important for me to improve is problem-solving.
