Biography
I consider myself a manual person and I love to create. Cabinetmaking allows me to develop my know-how, my minutiae, and my woodworking skills, while using my creativity. Possibilities are endless in this career. When I finish a project that seemed impossible, I start another that’s even more challenging to push myself to go further and perfect my skills. I can only get better with practice. I also love working with wood. I think it’s a wonderful material, and it’s great to discover all the different types and endless possibilities to create with it. My career goal is to own my own business.
I got involved with skills competitions when I volunteered to participate without really knowing what this competition entailed. It ended up being one of the best decisions I ever made. When I learned I will be competing at WorldSkills Lyon 2024 I felt so much joy. It was a moment filled with excitement and pride for me, and for my teachers and my circle of family and friends as well. I’m not the only one to have invested time and effort into this. I’m lucky enough to have passionate teachers who believed in me. Going to the WorldSkills Competition is our reward for our efforts and for the faith they placed in me.
