Ashley DeLong

Ashley DeLong is currently the manager for student recruitment and retention at the Nova Scotia Community College. Ashley has been connected to Skills/Compétences Canada for twenty years in a variety of roles over the years and is currently the Board Chair of Skills Canada – Nova Scotia. She is a huge supporter of the important work of Skills and believes strongly in raising awareness of the incredible opportunities available in skilled careers.

Ashley is passionate about supporting youth and individuals at every stage of their lives find their future in skilled trades and technologies. She loves seeing youth discover new possibilities they may not have considered before being connected with Skills. Watching competitors every year grow and find new confidence in themselves and everything they have to offer highlights to her how much this organization is changing the lives of Canadians every day.
