Gene Haas Foundation Provides Cash Awards to Skills Canada National Competition 2024 Medalists in Precision Machining and CNC Machining

The Skills Canada National Competition 2024 marked another year of an important partnership between Skills/Compétences Canada and the Gene Haas Foundation to promote machining careers and to keep young machinists in their trade.   

Though this partnership, the Gene Haas Foundation will provide cash awards starting at $1,350 to CNC Machining and Precision Machining competitors who received gold, silver or bronze medals at the Skills Canada National Competition 2024.

Post-Secondary Precision Machining: 
Gold: Bryden Surette, Nova Scotia
Silver: Clark Murphy, Prince Edward Island
Bronze: Nathan Orr, Ontario



Secondary Precision Machining:

Gold: Adam Peterson, Alberta
Silver: Evan Lafontaine, Ontario
Bronze: Robert Froese, Manitoba

Post-Secondary CNC Machining: 
Gold: Maxime Cormier, New Brunswick
Silver: Kai Johnson, Manitoba
Bronze: Ryle Reynolds, Ontario
